Assumptions. They can and so often do occur at every turn in the human mind - most probably today more than in days gone by, but who really knows? Humans see or hear things and then react - often. The reaction is based on what, really? It is based on what was "heard" or "seen" AND then what that human "does with it" (in their mind) to formunate personal reactions. And we know from direct personal experience how quick and easy those reactions are based on pure "assumptions" at best, too. (This is worse in a "less than brilliant" or "personally mature" individual, too...and this type roams far and wide today, certainly.) Needless to say, especially today, humans process information incorrectly and often believe very untrue things about others. When the facts are actually known (by those observing) surrounding any event, the passing that event on (or telling of "what happened") of most often so distorted that it is almost an entirely different story, when told to others, down the line! And this is a well-known fact that this occurs, as well; so much so, the old adage: "Believe nothing of what you read and only 1/2 of what you see" is both funny and almost true, truly! Too, the "whisper a specific sentence into the ear beside you, around the circle" test/trick/display...reveals the "specific sentence" when at the end of the circle is absolutely so different, it's not even funny! So, who could believe even the News Media today? Answer: Only those with 1/2 a brain, that's who...!
Making this more serious, most often the "assumptions" being made (that the listener has no idea are being "assumed," mind you) have a convenient twist to them that only augments or furthers the one telling the (now lie)/incident (wants it to have) to another, too. Imagine that! This fact is funny when you get to see it (say, on a comedy-entertainment TV show like "Andy Griffith"), but it becomes dangerous and detrimental when the motives change, involving this issue. So what does all this mean for the rest of us out here having to ENDURE the reactions of the many who "wrongly process" what they see or hear? Answer: It means we're in big trouble, that's what! Having to face "reactions" by others who don't get the correct or right information down and passed forward...can be disastrous! It's like fighting someone who has you confused with someone else - you didn't do what they're saying you did to cause them to start a fight that's now starting, in the first place...but there it is...out there for you to have to deal with, anyway!
There is an answer to solve all this, if you wanted to have it. It's like a fire extinguisher for a fire, truly. Want to know what that solution is? It only works if more people in our society use it though. It is this: TRUTH. But it has to be both appreciated and applied to work...same as with a fire extinguisher, huh. If you appreciate TRUTH for what it is, you'll then use it? Most do not today; they don't even know that this "fire extinguisher" even "puts out fires" (called lies). How unfortunate, really. If many in society today just "didn't put up with anything but truth"...or "facts"...related to any specific situation, well, we'd not follow these lies and act on them today, either! It's that simple, but to a society that "prefers" lies to TRUTH, well...the lies win out and the disasters because of the lies keep on coming, too! It's a matter of "behavioral education" and "choice" to accept and support TRUTH, period. Solves a ton of problems - TRUTH does. But we have to "choose it" first. We haven't done that...
But there's another nasty "truth" (oops - there's that word again) about one's assumptions, most often. Those having them don't know the things they "assume" are not true. They just hear the words (called "hearsay") from another (around the "whispering circle") and believe it all! How stupid, right? Well, that's the way it goes most often...and we can show you how this works, too...in living color if you want. (More on that later.) This process can lead to some horrible disastrous decisions being made in the minds of those who act, or react, on their own false "assumptions"...in relation to others, too.
Accusations. This is what occurs as a direct result of the "assumptions" made by so many today...for we live in a highly hostile "blame game" world these days, and most now easily allow this faulty mode of transmission (i.e. "hearsay" goes into "perceived facts" which flows into "reactions" based on "assumptions" what you heard is true) to flow fully through each's squash, then instantly producing a very unthought out "reaction" of basic incorrect stupidity...but who's watching, right? And this happens in response to everything that you see or hear, upon new data being "input" or encountered.
Uh Oh!
So, what's the answer to this vicious cycle? As told above, there is an antidote to this - TRUTH. If we ever get back to "valuing the TRUTH" again, we'll find all this cycle of garbage just stops! Yep. Stops. Addictions will stop, Violence - Domestic or otherwise, Abuses, Lies, Manipulations, Relationships that go bust, Bad Behaviors all throughout our present insane society...and so much more! For "People do what you allow" most always. Remember that and you're on your beginning to TRUTH. Also, "it's about Behaviors"...when it comes to humans and all they cause in human disasters, etc.
